Privacy Policy

• Application answers. The information you give when you apply for a seat, including your name, contact details, role, and your responses to our application questions.
• Profile and logistics. Details we need to run the cohort, such as dietary requirements, whether you want to rent a MacBook, and other on-site preferences.
• Payment information. When you pay, Stripe processes your card details. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing information, but we do not store your full card number.
• Account and login. We sign you in with a one-time passcode sent to your email, so we hold your email address and basic login activity.
• Desktop app telemetry. If you use our desktop app, we may collect basic usage and diagnostic telemetry, such as feature usage, crashes and performance, to keep the app working.
• Communications. Emails and messages you exchange with us.
• Website and technical data. Basic technical data needed to serve the site securely.

• To assess applications and manage enrolment (contract, and our legitimate interest in running gated cohorts).
• To deliver the bootcamp and run each cohort (contract).
• To take payment and keep financial records (contract, and legal obligation).
• To provide, secure and improve the desktop app (legitimate interests).
• To communicate with you about your seat, cohort logistics and support (contract, legitimate interests).
• To send you optional marketing, only where you have agreed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

We use trusted third parties to run our service. They act as our processors, or as independent controllers where relevant:

• Stripe, for payment processing.
• Railway, which hosts our PocketBase database and application.
• Anthropic, which provides the Claude AI that powers our tooling.
• Our email provider, to send login codes and service emails.

We do not sell your personal data.

Some providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

• We keep application data for as long as needed to assess it and, if you enrol, for the life of your relationship with us.
• We keep financial records for as long as the law requires, generally six years.
• We keep telemetry for a limited period to run and improve the app.
• We delete or anonymise data when we no longer need it.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data;
• restrict or object to how we process your data;
• ask for a copy of your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent where we rely on it.

We keep cookies to a minimum and use only what is needed to run the site securely and remember your session.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version.
